Parents are a core part of a player’s development — helping to support their mental and physical health, ensuring great nutrition, and advising them on their next steps.

Pacific FC’s leadership and coaches understand that these complex responsibilities are often new to parents, which is why we assembled a Parent’s Summit to help parents take their players to the next level in soccer. The event was held live on March 25, 2022, and this page brings you all the resources, videos and presentations from our special guests.

Featured speakers:

  • Mark MacDonald, celebrity nutrition coach and author
  • Kassie Gray, CEO and founder of Female Footballers
  • Kat Tarr, retired professional soccer player from the Portland Thorns; owner of Tarr Team Real Estate
  • Mike Smith, youth sporting director of the Portland TImbers and Thorns
  • Laura Schott, head coach of George Fox Women’s Soccer, former US National Team player
  • Filly Afenegus, technical director of Pacific FC
